Find and select a charging point
1. Go to the menu item "charging point"
2. Carry out the localisation via the entry in the search field above or via the automatic localisation function using GPS
3. The app now lists the charging points in the vicinity on the one hand and shows the charging points on the map on the other.
Now click on the charging point you want to select.
Navigate to the charging point
After selecting the desired charging point, click on "Route". 2.
The navigation and map apps installed on your smartphone are available for navigation. 3.
Select your desired navigation & map tool
4. The navigation & map app opens and navigates you to your charging point.
Search and filter charging points by plug type (currently not available)
Fleetbook offers you the simple functionality of filtering the charging points to match the plug type of your vehicle. Proceed as follows:
1. Go to the menu item "Charging point". 2.
Select the filter function at the top right (three dashes). 3.
Now you will see all common types of connectors. 4.
4 Select your desired plug type from the list. A tick now appears next to the selected connector type. 5.
Now click on "Start". 6.
The charging points are now displayed filtered according to your selection.
Add charging points to favourites
You can easily save any charging point as a favourite. Proceed as follows:
1. Select a charging point from the search mask and click on it. 2.
All the information about this charging point is now displayed
3. There is a heart symbol next to the address. 4.
Click on the heart. Now the charging point is saved as a favourite.
Where can I find my favourites?
You can find the charging points you have saved as favourites in the menu item "Favourites".
Where can I see my past charging processes?
You can find the charging processes you have already carried out in the menu item "History". The history is sorted by date, starting with the oldest charging process.
Identification of the charging point via QR code
You have the option of identifying a charging point via QR code in the app. Proceed as follows:
1. You will find the QR code symbol in the search field at the top. Please click on the QR code symbol. 2.
The app will now access the camera of your smartphone. If this is not the case, the access rights for the camera have not been granted in the settings of your smartphone. Please grant the access rights in the settings of your smartphone. 3.
Hold your smartphone and the camera on the QR code of the charging point. This is attached to the charging station. 4.
The app assigns the QR code to the charging point and displays any information about this charging point.
How do I enter the mileage?
Fleetbook will automatically ask you to enter the mileage. A pop-up window will appear for you to do this.
Incorrect entry of the mileage
If you have accidentally entered the wrong mileage, there is nothing to be done for the time being. You will be asked for your mileage again at regular intervals. Nevertheless, we ask you to send the correct mileage to the support team by e-mail if you make this mistake frequently. You will find the contact details of the support team in the menu item "Profile".
Is charging with an RFID card / ending the charging process also possible without an app?
Yes, you can also start or end your charge without an app using your RFID card (e.g. if your smartphone battery is empty).
