Do I need a wallbox?
To charge your EV at home, you need a wallbox. Because a normal household socket cannot charge a vehicle efficiently.
We have the right wallbox for you and offer all necessary components in one package for you (incl. home delivery).
If you already have a wallbox at home or would like to procure it yourself, we will only take care of the installation and commissioning.*
*provided that the minimum requirements for the wallbox are met.
Why do I need an operating package?
1. ensure that charging points are working: We monitor the charging points and ensure availability and worry-free operations. 2. reimbursement of charging costs: we process the reimbursement of electricity costs, as well as the provision of necessary documents for you.
How does the reimbursement for charge@home work?
After successful installation, the charged energy quantities are automatically forwarded to inno2fleet on a monthly basis. inno2fleet looks after billing management and transfers the incurred costs to you. The reimbursement is based on the charged energy quantity and the energy price of the electricity contract, for which the employees are paying at home. The basic charge of the electricity supply contract is not included in the reimbursement.
For correct and successful reimbursements, it is requested that every employee provides their bank details, as well as the electricity contract. This can be done conveniently by entering the data directly into the Fleetbook app. The reimbursement will be made monthly, fully automated. You will also receive a document to track consumption. If your employees' electricity tariff changes, the corresponding information can be updated via Fleetbook. An adjustment of the amount for reimbursement is also fully automated.
Does charge@home require third-party components or preparations?
No. You receive all necessary components and services from inno2fleet.
What is the maximum charging power at home?
The maximum charging power depends on the infrastructure at your home. During the home check, our installer will determine the best possible charging power for you. For private use, we generally recommend a charging capacity of 11 kWh.
How fast does my vehicle charge at home?
This depends on your EV. For an EV with a capacity of approx. 50 kWh, the battery is fully charged after approx. 5 h at a charging power of 11 kW.
What requirements must my wallbox meet?
A wallbox that is suitable for kWh-accurate reimbursement of caused charging costs requires the following prerequisites: The wallbox must be able to communicate via a GSM modem and operate using the OCPP 1.6 communication protocol. This enables an IT connection that provides automated reimbursement in the background as well as monitoring of the charging processes. MID certified: It is also necessary that the wallbox has a certified MID meter that guarantees kWh accurate billing.
What is calibration law?
Conformity with calibration law enables the charging of private vehicles at the wallbox, in addition to the charging of company vehicles. If there are several users at one charging point, the charging processes of the company vehicle, which are reimbursed, must be distinguished from other "private" charging processes in accordance with calibration law. If the wallbox is not only to be made available for the company vehicle, a wallbox that complies with calibration law is therefore required.
